A Night at the Opera

Part of the joy of living and working in an other country is experiencing difficult cultural activities.
This season we are lucky to coincide with the Pafos Aphrodite Festival - now in its 16th year and a must for opera lovers. So a number of team members went to the Paphos Medieval fort to see the production of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte by and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.

It was a wonderful experience, and amazing to see a live performance, particularly as we excavate the ancient theatre - to see the role performance has in modern Paphos alongside ancient. It also made a nice break from thinking about archaeology.

So it will be back to work at 6.30am tomorrow with a song in our heart!
