_The University of Sydney has posted all the details about our 2015 survey and findings in a press release today: 'Archaeologists uncover Roman roads from ancient Cyprus.' While not as sensational as some of the headlines we've been seeing, the press release covers the work completed this year and the importance of our findings regarding the colonnaded streets of Paphos in the second century AD. Update - The Sydney Uni press release has been covered in Archaeology Magazine online 'Archaeologists Map Roman Theater District in Cyprus'. Following on from the international coverage of our work at the theatre site, some Australian print media also picked up on the story this weekend, including: The Sunday telegraph (Sydney), the Sunday Times (Perth) and the Sunday Mail Adelaide. |
